Nikki Dedekian offers a non-intrusive style of photography created with passion, involvement and creativity. Photography has been a lifelong commitment: she received a BFA with honors in photography from New Mexico State University. She continued her training at the Maine Photographic Workshops as well as through an internship at the Smithsonian Photographic and Imaging Center in Washington DC. Until returning to her native Boston, Nikki worked as a wedding and portrait photographer for Tropical Imaging in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Nikki has received an honorable mention in the Boston Globe, won an award of excellence competition at WPPI 2007 and gained a Scholastic Art award in the Boston Photo Competition. She has also studied with acclaimed photographers such as Bambi Cantrell, Monte Zucker and Clay Blackmore. Another passion of Nikki's is working with charities around the Boston area through the Dana-Farber Institute, Beth Israel Hospital and various private and public schools in the metro area.
